 FICCI IPEC

 

FICCI IPR Division has established an Intellectual Property Education Centre (IPEC) with the objective to impart specialized education in IP field and to develop awareness about IPR as well as to develop a pool of IP skilled professionals. Courses on IPEC are taught by Industry leaders and domain experts from top institutions which include assignments, webinars, drafting exercises, workshops and discussion forums. Our courses are pursued by lawyers, IP professionals, Government officials and students from all disciplines.

 

 Courses offered:  

 

1. Online certificate course on intellectual property (IPPro):

 

The IPR Online Course has been introduced with the objective to provide a platform for candidates to gain practical knowledge about Intellectual Property Rights and its importance for innovation and growth of businesses and the economy as a whole. Intellectual property protection also acquires a significant International Law dimension with the adoption of important international treaties such as TRIPS, GATT, Madrid Protocol, PCT etc.

 

 Further, the course provides inclusive knowledge about IPRs, its role in the R&D sector towards evolution and development of Science and Technology and elaborates on the emerging trends in the legal, technical and business issues associated to the IP field. The modules also deal with introductions to Patents, Copyrights, Trademarks, Designs, Geographical Indications, TKDL, Plant Breeder's Rights (PBR), Plant Variety Rights (PVR) and Trade Secrets.

2.  Online Certificate Course on Intellectual Property Rights & Competition Law (IPComp):

 

In recent years, Intellectual Property has spawned a new wave of technological innovations, leading to rapid economic growth and development. As businesses grow and attract competition, the need to understand Intellectual Property, Competition Law and its interface becomes even more important in order to sustain and thrive in the market.

 

 The IPComp course covers fundamentals of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Competition Law, and their significance in distinct sectors including economic expansion and global market.

 

It enlightens about the different segments of IPR involving Patents, Trademarks, Copyrights, Industrial Designs, Geographical Indications, Trade Secrets, and Layout Designs of Integrated Circuit. It also discusses the role of Trade Related Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) for harmonizing IPR with competition law for innovation encouragement as well as for social and economic welfare.

3. Online Certificate Course on IPR and Pharmaceutical R&D (CCIPR):

 

IPRs (particularly patent rights), are generally understood to have two principal areas of impact in pharmaceuticals. On one hand, there is the issue of pricing and access and on the other hand, there is the issue of R&D incentives. Obviously, these two issues are closely linked, and their interplay presents a series of very difficult economic and policy issues.

 

 Pharmaceutical industry is a research based industry and requires qualified research scientists in huge numbers every year. The growing pharma R&D operations make it very essential that IP concepts and laws must be learned by the pharmacy graduate/post graduate students, pharma professionals and those in research.

4. Online Certificate Course on IP Protection & Commercialization (IPProComm):

 In order to provide a much-needed learning platform for researchers, business entities, legal professionals & students, FICCI in association with RGNIIPM* has embarked upon this Online Certificate Course on IP Protection & Commercialization.  

 

* RGNIIPM: Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Intellectual Property Management, Nagpur, established by the Government of India with the purpose of training, management, researching, and providing education in the field of Intellectual property in India.

आप को दीपुत्सव दीपावली की ह्रदय से सुभ कामनाये। इस दीवाली प्रार्थना करता हूँ कि हम सब राम राज्य में दर्शाया गया जीवन यापन कर संके। 

हिन्दू संस्कृति में राम द्वारा किया गया आदर्थ शासन रामराज्य के नाम से प्रसिद्ध है। वर्तमान समय में रामराज्य का प्रयोग सर्वोत्कृष्ट शासन या आदर्श शासन के रूपक(प्रतीक) के रूम में किया जाता है।

रामराज्य, लोकतन्त्र का परिमार्जित रूप माना जा सकता है। वैश्विक स्तर पर रामराज्य की स्थापना गांधीजी की चाह थी। गांधीजी ने भारत में अंग्रेजी शासन से मुक्ति के बाद ग्राम स्वराज के रूप में रामराज्य की कल्पना की थी।

राम राज बैठे त्रैलोका। हरषित भए गए सब सोका।।बयरु न कर काहू सन कोई। राम प्रताप विषमता खोई।।दैहिक दैविक भौतिक तापा। राम राज नहिं काहुहि ब्यापा।।अल्पमृत्यु नहिं कवनिउ पीरा। सब सुंदर सब बिरुज सरीरा।।नहिं दरिद्र कोउ दुखी न दीना। नहिं कोउ अबुध न लच्छन हीना।।सब गुनग्य पंडित सब ग्यानी। सब कृतग्य नहिं कपट सयानी।।राम राज नभगेस सुनु सचराचर जग माहिं।काल कर्म सुभाव गुन कृत दुख काहुहि नाहिं।।(रा•च•मा• 7। 20। 7–8; 21। 1¸ 5–6¸ 8; 21)
वाल्मीकि रामायण में भरत जी रामराज्य के विलक्षण प्रभाव का उल्लेख करते हुए कहते हैं, "राघव! आपके राज्य पर अभिषिक्त हुए एक मास से अधिक समय हो गया। तब से सभी लोग निरोग दिखाई देते हैं। बूढ़े प्राणियों के पास भी मृत्यु नहीं फटकती है। स्त्रियां बिना कष्ट के प्रसव करती हैं। सभी मनुष्यों के शरीर हृष्ट–पुष्ट दिखाई देते हैं। राजन! पुरवासियों में बड़ा हर्ष छा रहा है। मेघ अमृत के समान जल गिराते हुए समय पर वर्षा करते हैं। हवा ऐसी चलती है कि इसका स्पर्श शीतल एवं सुखद जान पड़ता है। राजन नगर तथा जनपद के लोग इस पुरी में कहते हैं कि हमारे लिए चिरकाल तक ऐसे ही प्रभावशाली राजा रहें।"
